This primary bath remodel was part of a whole home remodel. This space was previously a sitting room with a wood stove, leaving no room for a primary bath. It was time to update this primary suite with modern day amenities.
We chose this gorgeous sky blue tile for our accent color in the primary bath to keep with the home's color palette. The herringbone pattern is classic but the extra long tiles add a modern touch. We love how this tiled wall makes the tub pop against the soft blue background.
Our goal was to fit in a double vanity, full size soaker tub, shower and a private water closet for the toilet. We were able to meet all these goals by making the tub and shower a shared wet room combination. This meant using a linear shower drain with floor tiles that seamlessly become shower floor tiles, and an open concept shower with a panel of glass rather than doors.
This renovated bathroom has upgraded the home to now have a true Primary suite with modern bath amenities (and a new walk in closet too!).
