These homeowners renovated the main living areas of the home when they first moved in and now they were ready to tackle the laundry room and kids bath.

Our goal was to make the laundry room pretty and more functional as they pass through the space daily to get to their garage. It is an awkward space with angles and door swings. We did not have an option to open any walls but we could swap out on door for a pocket door. We also reworked the cabinetry to house a vacuum and include open space for tossing shoes. We lowered the washer and dryer for more open sight lines and topped them with a white oak butcher block. This adds a warm wood tone and also provides a working surface. The deco tiles on the floor are the main feature. The bold print is balanced with a soft blue gray palette. We decided on gray gray cabinets with the home's existing door style for continuity. The awkward corner turned into a perfect spot for a wall of coat hooks.
