For this renovation we wanted to replace and refresh as many surfaces as we could cover within the client's budget. This home was a rental property for years and then became a kid focused home.  It was time to clean things up and find their personal style. We replaced the flooring downstairs to a durable LVT in a gray finish. This will hold up to this active family and for future renters down the line. We also replaced all the carpet upstairs and painted walls, trim, baseboards and doors throughout. Every light fixture in the home was replaced for a new look.

In the kitchen we replaced all the appliances and updated the sink and faucet. Instead of replacing all the cabinets we just replaced all the door fronts to a simple white shaker style with new cabinet pulls. All the counters were upgraded to quartz. We used a charcoal gray quartz paired with a striking white and gray veined slab for the island. The island had a shelf on one side. We replaced this with a new cabinet panel and extended the countertop to allow seating for two. Since the kitchen had plenty of storage we decided to remove one upper unit and replace it with open shelving to open up the look.

We used blues, whites and pops of orange in the furnishings to compliment the bright energy these ladies project. Modern, energetic, fun and inviting. This home is a true reflection of the people who call it home now.
